There is going to be so much going on here you are not going to want to miss it. We are also using this weekend to partner with the NC National Guard as we collect boxes for Operation We Care, supporting our troops overseas who support our freedom every day Our goal is 2000 Operation We Care boxes and we have given out 1700 so far.  You can come by the church office and pick yours up and bring them this weekend filled with essential items. Operation We Care

Operation We Care is well under way with nearly 1100 boxes already given out.  These boxes, once filled with the suggested items and returned to C3, will be shipped to our National Guard soldiers serving in Iraq & Afghanistan. There is still time to get a box this weekend, fill it with the suggested items and bring it back to C3 by July 4-5 weekend which is also God & Country Weekend! Our prayer is that we will collect 2000 care boxes to send to our National Guard troops. For more information on Operation We Care and the items that are suggested to be placed in the boxes click here.

Reflecting on All Access 09

Last week we had the privilege of hosting All Access 09 ARC conference here at C3.  What an amazing experience as approximately 1500 pastors and church leaders gathered for 3 days of powerful leadership training, workshops and fellowship.  I am so proud of the C3 staff and hundreds of volunteers that helped make it happen.  Here are a few highlights…

•    For the first time ever Live Feed was provided for the entire conference which include behind the scenes interviews and interaction with those online.  We had as many as 260 online during the conference. You will be able to watch the sessions archived on www.allaccessconference.com
•    The conference was recorded in HD and can be seen on God.tv and Daystar network to potentially 55 million homes.  (details and air time tba info)
•    Every session was powerful. Some of the highlights for me was Ed Young talking about dealing with crazy people.
•    Dino Rizzo shared the three keys to longevity: humility, honesty, honor.
•    Billy Hornsby sharing the vision for the ARC from Joshua 1:1.  We have already planted over 100 churches in the past 8 years and the vision is to plant 2000 churches by 2020.
•    Greg Surratt encouraged us to base our preaching on the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ, remember God has chosen you, and base your hope that we are a part of the winning team!
•    Chris Hodges reminded us to love life, love people and love God.
•    Wednesday morning was powerful and hilarious as Rick Bezet, Joe Champion, Ed Young and Stovall Weems spoke back to back. I can’t remember a time that I laughed that hard for like 3 hours.  Stovall Weems was our closer and brought a powerful and passionate message about frontline leadership… 3 tests:  Understanding pain, submission and identity.
•    43 vendors this year that included Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Feed the Children, Book of Hope, BMC Ferrell and many more.

The results of this conference will be seen in the coming years as the ARC continues to plant life giving churches in the U.S. and around the world.  These are exciting days and I can’t wait to see all that God is going to do.  See you next year in Little Rock at Pastor Rick Bezet’s church!
