    New Stuff at C3!!

Hey Fusion. Don't forget this weekend our service times change here at C3. Saturday at 4:30 and 6:30, Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30. And set your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night.

And don't forget to tell everyone you know -- This Sunday night is going to be absolutely amazing. 5pm is the time and C3 Church is the place to be. It's going to be new, improved, crazy, awesome, mysterious, adventurous and a face to face encounter with God. The Student Ministry at C3 is about to get wild. Hope to see all of our Middle School and High School students this weekend.

    Are you Awake?

I like Websters meaning of the word Awake; it means: "to become conscious or aware of something." In about 1 week we will be starting a series along with a 21 day fast called "Awakening" and I know God is going to work through this to do some amazing things. He's going to use it to make us conscious or aware of things in our life that need attention, to make us of aware of other people that need our help, and to ultimately make  us more aware, even as Middle Schoolers, of God's will for your life. We will be doing a Daniel's fast which is Fruits and Veggie's, if you can't do that, pray about what God would have you fast, what would be a sacrifice for you and what is something in your life that you spend a lot of time on, that if you spent that time with God, would make it easier for you to hear His voice. I'm praying that 2009 is going to be a great year for every Fusion Student, remember, what does God want you to sacrifice so in 2009 you can be more "AWAKE" See you Sunday night at 5pm!

    The Greatest Commandment

What a question the teachers asked, they wanted to know, Jesus, what is the most important thing we can do as God's people, and rightfully so, what a prime opportunity to hear straight from Jesus, what a perfect opportunity for a guy like me to sit down with my pen and my pad and make my checklist of how to be a perfect Christian, but what does Jesus do? In true, unpredictable fashion, he paints a very broad but specific picture.

Mark 12:30-31 says "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this, Love your neighbor as yourself, there is no commandment greater than these"
So the true test for everyone is to ask, am I loving God, and am I loving people, if so am I loving God in every area, am I loving God in such a way that people see Him in me, and am I loving God in a way that I am not so consumed with the business of life, school or even ministry, that I am not taking time to sit at the feet of Jesus and Adore Him, learn more about who He is, how much I am worth to Him, and how much He loves me. I want to encourage you, if you are caught up in the business of the season or just life, to take some time, to sit at the feet of God and do what Jesus commanded, Love the Lord with all of our Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength.

    I Have My Life

I read an Essay this morning and was challenged. This Essay was by a 12 year old teenager who had 2 factors going for her: 1. She believed she could make a difference, and 2. She believed in Jesus Christ.
I hope as you read this you are inspired and maybe, just maybe it will help you share the same beliefs that Brooke had, that Jesus died for You, and that You truly can, make a difference.

“Since I Have My Life Before Me”
    By Brooke Bronkowski

I’ll live my life to the fullest.  I’ll be happy.  I’ll brighten up.  I will be more joyful than I have ever been.  I will be kind to others.  I will loosen up.  I will tell others about Christ.  I will go on adventures and change the world.  I will be bold and not change who I really am.  I will have no  troubles but instead help others with their troubles.

You see, I’ll be one of those people who live to be history makers at a young age.  Oh, I’ll have moments, good and bad, but I’ll wipe away the bad and only remember the good.  In fact that’s all I remember, just good moments, nothing in between, just living my life to the fullest.  I’ll be one of those people who go somewhere with a mission, an awesome plan, a world-changing plan, and nothing will hold me back.  I’ll set an example for others, I will pray for direction.

I have my life before me.  I will give others the joy I have and God will give me more joy.  I will do everything God tells me to do.  I will follow the footsteps of God.  I will do my best!!!

    Will you be a KB?

Kingdom Builders Celebration weekend is here!! I know God has some exciting things in store for us in 2009, I hope you have all been praying about what God would have you give this weekend, I truly believe when we sacrifice for God, we will see Ephesians 3:20 in our lives and God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask or imagine.
Living a life style as a Kingdom Builder is a sacrifice, when I look up the word sacrifice, other meanings that pop up are “Give up, Let go and Surrender.
I think this is a great picture of what it is to be a Kingdom Builder that we
    •    “Give Up” the idea that everything we have is ours.
    •    “Let Go” of what we are holding on to so God can use it to Further His Kingdom.
    •    “Surrender out lives fully to him so that He can do what he will with us.

God’s ways are higher than our ways and His plan for our life will always lead us to a good place. This weekend is going to be OFF THE CHAIN!!!! Let’s celebrate the fact that God has called us to further His Kingdom. Author: Cory Bolduc
