Easter Weekend Reflections and Pics
Wow. What a weekend! We celebrated our first Easter in the new building and all three services were powerful. It felt like the devil was fighting us all weekend with tech stuff and some sickness but we fought through it and Jesus definitely kicked him in the tail. We added a Saturday night service and I was curious how many would show up and the place was packed out with about 1,500 in attendance for just Saturday night.
I want to thank the hundreds of leaders and volunteers that served with all their heart. I am so proud of you! Martha and the C3 worship team did a fantastic job leading us in worship and the video testimonies to the song Overcome was amazing!
After our Sunday morning services Martha and I left for VA Beach and I had the privilege of speaking at the Wave Church. They were having a special Easter Sunday night service at the VA Beach Convention Center. What an amazing service! Their worship was off the charts! High energy is an understatement. And Pastor Steve and Sharon Kelly were so kind to host us.
We also had the privilege of touring their new facility that is under construction. It will include a 3,000 seat worship center, coffee shop, bookstore, children’s facility and much more. Here’s a picture of me and Pastor Steve in front of the building under construction. I want to thank Pastor Steve, Sharon and the leadership of the Wave Church for their hospitality.

Awesome, Awesome weekend Pastor!!! Kelli and I got to watch the live feed from the Wave Church. The place was rocking! You did a great job. Can't wait for this weekend.

I was one of those 1500 on Saturday night!
It's been a year since I was at the Wave Church...I'm excited to visit again soon!
