It's a New Thing

Isaiah 43:19, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”(NIV)

Sunday night I had the privilege of speaking to new families at C3 Church Raleigh for Discovery 101 currently meeting at the North Raleigh Christian Academy Sundays at 10:30am. This is the first Discovery since relocating from North Hills and it was a blast. I shared with them the vision of C3 and how Martha and I came to North Carolina 11 years ago with a vision to reach those who are hurting and are not connected to a church family. Speaking to them reminded me of the first Discovery we had 11 years ago in a home in the Clayton area.  It was fun to see their excitement and passion to get involved in what God is doing. Here’s what a few of them shared on their Facebook after Discovery.

C3 Church Raleigh launched March 29 of this year and God has already blessed us by reaching many families for Christ.  C3 stands for Connecting Communities to Christ and that’s what our vision is for C3 Church.... One Church with Two Locations.  To connect those who don’t know Jesus to a relationship with Christ and to a church family so that they can reach their full potential. Sounds of Liberty

We are gearing up for an exciting fall at C3 and have lots of things happening in the coming months that I'm fired up about.  This weekend Sounds of Liberty from Liberty University will be in concert at all three services in Clayton.  

As most of you know, I am a graduate from Liberty University and worked on staff at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Falwell, so it is an honor to host Sounds of Liberty here.  

We will be concluding our RETHINK series and it is the last weekend of our C3 EXPO.  It's not too late to get signed up and plugged into a Ministry Team.

Accelerate 09 is just a few weeks away, September 11-12. We are so excited about this year's conference! 20/20

I am fired up that tomorrow night @ 7pm we are launching 20/20 Training Nights!! At 20/20 I will share with everyone a brief leadership principle to help guide us in the direction that God has for us. Then we’ll break up into our different Ministry Teams and you’ll get to hear from your Ministry Leader and learn how what I shared can be applied in your area of Ministry. This night is to reiterate and reemphasize the vision that God has called C3 to because we must stay on our course...and like you’ve heard me say, “Drift happens,” and we want to be sure our Ministry is not drifting. God is preparing C3 for something BIG and I am so excited to see what He does through our 20/20 nights. Get here early, bring your Bible, notebooks and get ready to learn how and where God is taking us in this fall season. It’s going to be AWESOME!!

ACCELERATE 09

Accelerate 09 is only one month away…. September 11-12! This is a time to be encouraged, challenged and equipped so that we can “accelerate” to a new level and advance the cause of Christ together.  This year have the privilege of Pastor Rick Bezet from Conway, Arkansas joining us.
