SOUPER BOWL WEEKEND

I am so fired up to see you all this weekend. SOUPER BOWL WEEKEND is here and God has laid a burning message on my heart to share. Don’t forget to wear your favorite team jersey. I’ll be sporting my Drew Brees jersey – Go Saints! More importantly, bring your canned good items to bless our local food pantries. Looking forward to see you this weekend!

 

FLASHLIGHTS FOR HAITI - URGENT NEED

C3 has an opportunity to help provide an urgent need for Haiti. Love A Child Orphanage, one of our partner ministries, is in need of several items as they are providing a refuge facility that will eventually hold 100,000 refugees. One of the immediate needs is flashlights. 

Let's collect flashlights for Haiti and bring them to First Wednesday tomorrow night. If you purchase regular flashlights, please include extra batteries. You can also purchase the crank type flashlights that require no batteries as they are also needed. If you know of anyone who would like to participate, please encourage them to bring their flashlights to C3 by this Thursday before noon. We will prepare the flashlights for shipment on Thursday afternoon and they will be delivered to Haiti before the weekend.

LIVING THE BLESSED LIFE

I missed worshiping with you guys this weekend but I’m excited about our First Wednesday service with Pastor Robert Morris this Wednesday at 7pm. Pastor Robert is the Senior Pastor of Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. Gateway Church is a multi-campus church with over 15,000 attending every weekend. Pastor Robert is a member of the Association of Related Churches and a bestselling author of several books. One book in particular that had a huge impact on Martha and I is “The Blessed Life.” This book gave Martha and I a healthy perspective on finances and biblical stewardship. Make plans to be here for First Wednesday, February 3rd at 7pm, it’s going to be awesome!
