YOU KNOW YOU'RE CALLED IF...Recap & #10

Well here it is…number 10! This one is so important to experience All that God has for you and your ministry. Before we look at number 10 let's take a look at the previous 9:

1. YOU WON’T QUIT WHEN TIMES GET DIFFICULT
2. YOU WILL STAND STRONG DURING ADVERSITY
3. YOU WILL NOT MAKE EXCUSES
4. YOU WILL NOT BLAME OTHERS
5. YOU WILL HAVE A PASSION THAT COMES FROM GOD
6. YOU AREN’T SEEKING RECOGNITION OR APPLAUSE FROM MEN
7. YOU ARE A GOD PLEASER NOT A MAN PLEASER
8. YOU WILL HONOR AND SUPPORT YOUR LEADERS
9. YOU WON’T WEAR A MASK

And number 10...

10. YOU SEE THE BIG PICTURE

You will be willing to do whatever it takes because it’s all about the Cause. You see the big picture. You will serve in whatever role because it’s about the goal, not the role. God takes us all through seasons of preparation and growth so that we can successfully fulfill His purpose for our life. He did not pluck us out of eternity and place us here to do the minimum, He wants us to be about His Kingdom and have a willing to heart to do what He has called us to do.

We can never let it become about the task, there are always things to do but we can never forget the reason why we are doing them. The moment we forget that or let it lose it’s focus, is the moment we take Jesus out of our work. We must keep our eyes focused on God and impacting His Kingdom and He will see to it our to-do lists get done.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” (NIV)

That's a good word Pastor. That was a great motive check. Sometimes it can get real easy to lose track of the motive and become focus on short term self satisfaction instead of Long term Kingdom glorification. I am so thankful for you as a Pastor and Spiritual authority that you would continue to remind us that it's not about us but about Jesus and reach those far from him. Thanks Again Pastor
